Mechanism of action of the drug:
A synthetic form of the thyroid hormone T3, produced by the thyroid gland, is called cytomel (liothyronine). Thyroid hormones play crucial roles, such as controlling body temperature, heart rate, metabolism, and other processes. Thyroid hormone replacement can normalize hormone levels if they are too low.
Side effects:
Side effects that will be noticeable at any dose, but will be more pronounced the higher the dose of Cytonon T3, include increased body temperature, increased hunger, and in some cases (I have this), constant muscle loss.
Dosage:
For muscle mass gain, a daily dose of Cytonon T3 tablets is recommended. Typically, Cytonon T3 is taken in doses of 50 to 150 mcg per day. It should be taken on an empty stomach, immediately upon waking. This product should be used for a minimum period of 8 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.
