  • Category:  Vasodilator

  • Objective:  Hair growth, prevention of androgenetic alopecia.

  • Form:  Oral tablets (5 mg each), blister pack 5×10

What is Minoxytop?

Minoxytop is a vasodilator based on minoxidil, used primarily to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss — a common side effect among athletes who use PEDs (performance-enhancing drugs).

Unlike topical solutions, the oral form offers a stronger and longer-lasting effect. This makes Minoxytop suitable not only for treating existing hair loss, but also as a preventative option during anabolic steroid cycles to minimize the risk of androgen-related baldness.

Main effects of Minoxytop

  • Promotes the growth of new hair.

  • Slows down hair loss.

  • Thickens and strengthens existing hair.

  • Improves blood circulation in the scalp.

  • Helps maintain follicle health during PED cycles.

How do I take Minoxytop?

Usage protocols

  • Starting dose:  2.5–5 mg per day (half to one tablet), taken once daily, preferably in the morning with food.

  • Maximum dose:  Up to 10 mg per day, divided into two doses (morning and evening), only if well tolerated.

  • Cycle duration:  Minimum of 3 to 6 months to see consistent and lasting results. Stopping use of the product may gradually reverse progress.

Precautions

  • Not recommended for individuals with unstable blood pressure or cardiovascular problems.

  • Do not use with beta-blockers or diuretics.

  • If side effects occur — stop using or reduce the dose.

  • Do not use with alcohol or CNS stimulants.

Possible side effects

  • Rapid heartbeat (tachycardia)

  • Water retention (swelling or puffiness)

  • Headaches, dizziness

  • Unwanted hair growth on the face or body

  • Blood pressure fluctuations

  • Anxiety, insomnia

How to store it?

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.

  • Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

How does Minoxytop work?

Minoxytop dilates blood vessels, allowing more blood to reach the scalp. With improved circulation, hair follicles receive more oxygen and nutrients. As a result, some follicles that had stopped functioning may awaken and begin to grow actively again.

It also affects  potassium channels  , small entry points in cell membranes that regulate the amount of nutrients and signals the cell receives. By opening these channels, Minoxytop helps prolong the hair growth phase and improve hair quality and thickness.

Although Minoxytop does not reduce  DHT  (dihydrotestosterone — a potent form of testosterone associated with hair loss), it helps to reduce its harmful effects. During DEP or, especially, anabolic steroid cycles, DHT levels can increase, accelerating baldness. Minoxytop helps preserve follicular function and blood flow, offering some level of protection even in conditions of elevated DHT.
